Glossop Pool History

Glossop Swimming Pool set in the woodland of Howard Park this Victorian Swimming Pool, completed in 1887, was re-opened after major refurbishment in 1993. Housing a 25m pool and solarium, the pool offers a varied swimming programme and caters for all ages and abilities.

The pool hall itself is a classic example of victorian architecture, creating a vast airy space combined with modern lighting and surfaces. Its large windows look out on to Howard Park providing picturesque views for customers all year round
