Bacteriological classes held at Leeds College of Technology.
Study Circle group held in Leeds.
The first reference in the Associations’ conference report of ‘Baths Study Circles’ and the ‘National Association of Bath Superintendents examination test’. The Syllabus included subjects such as ‘General office routine, design of Baths and Wash-Houses, buildings with particular reference to ventilation and acoustics, Water technology, Steam generation and finally Baths administration’.

Baths Management (Organisation and Administration) by John A. Davenport, M.Sc., B.Eng. Former General Manager of Liverpool Corporation Baths Department published by the Association of Bath Superintendents.
The Associate Certificate award is accepted by the National Joint Council. The examination has been placed in Appendix B of the list of examinations appropriate to the Local Government Service.
Out of 89 members that sat for the Associations examinations only 40 were successful.
